Audrey Sayer is a painter living and working in Washington, DC. Originally from Nebraska, she received her BFA in Studio Art from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln in 2005. Inspired by the Color-field movement and Abstract Expressionists, her pieces are fueled by color and composition. Drawing from both her childhood memories of rural places, as well as her time in New York and Washington, D.C., she creates images reflective of both rural and urban landscapes.
